I'm currently interning at Amazon on the AWS Iot Core team. I'm learning Java and AWS systems. I've researched, load tested, and designed solutions to address latency and I'm adding a new feature to the IoT ListThings public API.
I interned at Uber on the Premium and Scheduled Rides team, where I worked with Javascript, React, Redux, and Flow typing and added functionality to allow users to control where ride scheduling is enabled.
In 2019, I joined ADA Developer's Academy's Cohort 12 in Seattle, Washington, where I learned all the skills to be a software developer, such as: computer science and algorithms, practical coding skills, test-driven development, pair programming and team collaboration, and debugging techniques.
In Spring 2018, I graduated with a BA in Linguistics from the University of Washington in Seattle. Soon after, I decided I didn't want to pursue a Master's degree and set my sights on software development.
